Three years ago this past Christmas our toybox was graced with it's first set of Disney figures. Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy (Goosy... still cute), Donald & Daisy became instant pals with our little Playhouse Disney lover (Jordan).
Those figures were loved. Grubby little hands clutched them tight and carried them everywhere. When a baby brother started in on the loving (read: biting off appendages) the figures never complained.
Said little brother is now 3 himself and loves him some Disney figures. Our modest collection has grown to an embarassing total but the little man never forgets to tell us that he needs Mickey figures. Well and Toy Story figures but he already has 3 sets.
Enter their soft hearted Daddy who braved The Disney Store and came home today bearing gifts. I wonder if Dillon could smell them coming as he ran to the screen door shouting "Daddy Dear". Oh who am I kidding... I am just jealous.
Now the little man and his little buddies are tucked in for the night... well hopefully. Daddy will probably be a softie and let him come "snuggle" (read: sleep all night) in with us.
