Things I love...

I am sitting at my desk today just thinking about all my boys. I was overwhelmed with the love I have for them and thought I would type a few things.

I love that Jordy & Dill have become best friends. I love that they can play together and I hear them giggling in their room. I love that Jordan helps Dillon climb the stairs and tells him "We're almost there. Keep going" until they reach the top. I love that they will be close in age and good friends.

I love that Jordan loves reading and wants me to read him stories every night. I love that he can't get enough of snuggling in my bed. I love that he is wild and silly and has an imagination that runs wild.

I love that Dillon is such a Mommy's boy. Even on our rough days I love to look at his cute chubby face and dimples and know that he loves me more than he can say. I love that he is daring and will try just about anything. I love how much he loves his family. I love that he has to stop and point out Da-Da in pictures everytime he see's one.

I love that Blair lets me take charge. I love that he forgives me everyday. I love that when I get angry and think that we are in a fight he has no idea what would give me that idea. I love that he loves his Dad so much and has a best friend. I love that he talks to me even when he doesnt want to (if you know him, you know that this is huge!) And most of all I love that he is mine for eternity.

Although I know for certain I am not the best mom or wife, and that on most days I don't even come close I wanted my boys to know I love them more than anything.

Momma & PomPaw Hunt

The boys loved being at Momma & Pompaw's house for Christmas. Jordan asks me almost everyday if we are going to go there to see Tim & Megan. He sure loves his cousins.

I was pleasantly surprised that Dill didn't have his "stranger danger" attitude with any of them either. We will be back to visit later this month for Megan's baptism. Jordy probably won't want to come home...again.

The Christmas Suit

I just had to get a suit for Jordan this year! He will wear it to 2 baptism's this year too so it was worth it! He looks pretty dapper to me!

The Birthday Boy!

Dillon had his first birthday on 12/21/07. Poor thing had a cold and could pretty much care less. But look how cute he is! Love you Dill!

Christmas is over- Yahoo!

We spent Christmas this year in Snowflake with Mindy's family. It was fun, Jordan really enjoyed being with all his cousins. Too bad we all caught the stomach flu! Merry Christmas indeed.

It was really cool that Jordy was so into Christmas this year. "Oh Boy"! He would exclaim when he opened a present he liked. When he opened clothes he just tossed them aside.

Poor little Dill has been hit the hardest with the flu, and he's not even over the cold he had. Hopefully he can start feeling better soon. He did learn a new word at Grandma's: CAT. He loved Uncle Noah's cats!

An hour I will never get back...

I tried to get a good picture of the boys together to send out in Christmas cards this year. After 45 minutes or torture I downloaded 1 usable photo. I thought turning off the flash would make the tree lights look better, but it made all the pics blurry. So this is what we are going with. The boys do look stinking cute though!

Where did November go?

Wow, it has been a busy month at the Karafa house! We had Grandpa's 90th b-day party, 2 weeks of colds/flu, Thanksgiving and a little guy learning to walk. Thanksgiving was at Momma Karafa's this year. Jordan had a good time playing with his cousin jaxon who was visiting from Albuquerque. We had family photo's done that weekend and he surprised us all by actually smiling for a change.
Dillon is walking more than crawling now. He is up to 5 1/4 teeth now. poor thing has had a rough few weeks with teething and being sick.
We put up our Christmas tree on the 29th. Jordy says its the best tree EVER!! It is really exciting that he is so into Christmas this year. It will be a lot of fun for him when we go to Momma Hunt's for the holidays. I think he has already watched every Christmas movie!
Jordan is really enjoying nursery. He's a big boy so they moved him up to the 3 yr old class already and he just loves his teachers. It melts my heart when he comes home and has learned a new song. His favorites are I am a Child of God, and the Daddy song (I'm so glad when Daddy comes home.....)
