Don don don.............................
We survived! Jordan was such a trooper and did great. I'm really glad we decided to go the pediatric dentist route and suggest that to anyone! Dr. Kelly and her staff were great! We had no tears, fears or anything! Not surprising we had a few cavities to fill next time but the really sad thing is they want to extract his 4 front teeth and one on the bottom. The bottom tooth was a casualty of the accident Saturday, it had cracked right down the middle. The others definitely had baby bottle rot (no more sippy's or binkies for my kids!) and Dr. Kelly felt a crown would be a waste of money. So it looks like my little man will be ruthless & toothless a little earlier than expected.
As a mom I worry about him being teased by kids at school or church (kids really can be so cruel) but I guess he would be teased if he had visible decay as well. Its so hard being in charge and having to make the tough choices.
We did have fun going shopping to get some fun flosser's and Nursery Water. He even got to pick out some cups with straws. And we finally had Crazy Chicken (El Pollo Loco) for lunch and had a trip to the library! He's definitely a happy boy! He would never know Mommy cried in the van on the way home.
I forgot my camera but next time I will get some. He was so cute in that big old chair with his sunglasses on!

Movie Day!
Jordan has been looking forward to seeing WALL-E for weeks. This is the first time that we took Dillon to a movie with us and only the second time Jordan had been to a theater. I think they were both interested more in the Popcorn & Sprite then anything. Dillon lasted through the previews and then I had to take him out. It's a good thing we timed it for his morning nap. It only took me 30 minutes to "air rock" him to sleep! Man that boy is getting heavy. I thought the movie was really cute, I think Jordan was still a little young for it. There isn't much dialogue and it didn't hold his interest.
Today was also $1 flip-flop day at Old Navy. We got there about 12:30 and the line was wrapped all the way around the store! Come on people, its only $1.50 off!
I think I have finally convinced Blair to let me decorate the boys room. Hopefully involving Jordan in the process will FINALLY get him out of my room for good.
Jordan's big dentist appointment is Monday morning and I am dreading it! If you know Jordy you have probably seen his poor rotten teeth. I hate it because we honestly brush and do everything but they have always been that way. When I went full-time I got dental insurance and made him an appointment right away. I am so nervous because I feel like a failure as a mom! And just my luck, Jordan was climbing on my back tonight and hit his chin on my head.........you guessed it, chipped a chunk of tooth right off. We cannot catch a break! My poor boy. I am still so grossed out by the sound of it. Blair had to talk me down out of my panic attack.

Our Weekend
Blair and I had a nice time on our date. We ate at Oregano's (pizzookie...YUM-O) and saw Get Smart. It was a really funny movie, and was nice to see one without all the raunchy humor for a change.
Saturday started out really nice, Blair got up with the kids and let me sleep in a little. Unfortunately that was short lived as by 10:00 Blair and I were at the urgent care center because he has a kidney stone. Luckily my Dad has had several so I knew the symptoms right away. I was surprised how quickly we got in & out especially on a Saturday. Blair was sent home with some Vicodin and instructions to drink, drink, drink. Poor guy!
Sunday was Dillon's first day of Nursery! He was a champ and stayed the whole time. Daddy dropped him off and said he didn't even look back. I can't believe my baby is so big. Here he is before church on his big day, sorry about the finger smudge on the lens!

5 things....
There are 5 things I am grateful for today. They are:

1. Camp LoMia. I am grateful that on March 27th 2002 I talked Katie into going on a ward campout to Camp LoMia. This is the night that Blair & I met. (He says that we met earlier at an FHE but I'm sorry, someone saying and this is Blair and this is Willie and this is so & so and you standing there with your arms folded and not saying a word does not count as meeting!) Anyways! Blair had the accurate reputation of not speaking to anyone and I knew I could get him to talk! We played a game called Compatibilty and Blair and Katie ended up partners. It's funny because I remember they won and were the most compatible. Thanks for testing him out Katie! I guess I married the male counterpart of me!
2. The Singles Ward. Not the movie but ASU 3rd Ward. The year and a half I was in this ward were some of the best times of my life. It was during this time that I truelly accepted the gospel into my life and gained a testimony of my own. I am so grateful for the friends I made and still have from this time. And of course it helped me meet Blair.
3. My friend Kristin. Kristin was the first person to extend friendship to me when I came to 3rd Ward. She was the one who told me to come to all the activities and made me feel welcome. She also set up my first date with Blair. It was a double date with her and Chris Jenkins too bad Chris flaked out and Blair ended up with us both. He took it in stride and we went to Golfland. After the date Kristin got the down-low from Blair and I was "NOT HIS TYPE". To which I of course replied "Good, he wasnt mine either". After that date our love/hate friendship started. All the while I think Kristin knew I liked him and (maybe) that he liked me. She always encouraged me to keep after him. Thanks Kris!
4. Roger Clyne. Ok so this one is a little silly but it is true. One night we went bowling with several friends from the ward. Over the speakers I hear "So just how far down do you wanna go".... the beginning to one of my favorite Roger songs and I look over at Blair and he is totally singing along. So we talk about it and we both love RCPM. A few weeks later and some friends are having a bonfire up at Sycamore Creek. I make Blair drive me and conveniently his truck only holds the two of us. Not so conveniently we get lost from the group and dont have cell reception. Blair is playing a RCPM cd that I didn't have and a song comes on and is so perfect for the moment. The chorus is "But baby, baby I could call you baby. If I weren't so empty in the head and tied up in the tongue. But baby, baby I could callyou baby, If I weren't so green and dumb". I kept repeating the song over and over and over and covering the dash so he couldnt stop it. I wonder if he got the hint? Hmmmm
5. Bliss. The wedded kind that is! It was 5 years ago today that I finally got my big old lug down the aisle. Blair is such a good husband. He has been saddled with a moody, know it all, sassy, bad housekeeping wife. And yet he loves me. He really really loves me and makes sure that I know it!
I love you honey!

The blessings in life...
This past week I came across a blog of a girl I knew in high school. Her one year old son passed away last week after a traumatic accident in his crib. Ever since I read the horrible news I have not been able to get it out of my head. I know I have said before how morbid I am, and that my greatest fear is to have Blair or the boys die before me. My heart just aches for this poor family and I can't help but wonder what if it happened to me. Could I go on? Could I be strong and believe that all would be well? I really don't know.
You never really know that capacity of your own heart until you have a child who stretches it until it could burst. And then the next one stretches it even more. I am so grateful for my children. This past week I have tried to give even more hugs and kisses, tell them more times how much Mommy loves them.
It is so true when they say that time flies and your kids grow up way too fast. My prayers have been sent out this past week to any mother who has had that short time cut even shorter.

Happy Father's Day!
Blair is such a good Dad. Where I lack patience he has it. When I am too tired to play ball he is the best catcher. When Mario Kart is too hard for Mommy to play and win, Daddy plays and wins all the trophy's.
We had a fun filled weekend starting with a shopping spree at Daddy's favorite store....McFarlane's.I would post more about this obsession but this picture was taken as Blair fervently was packing his treasures back into the bag yelling "You cannot blog about this". Love you!
Next Blair, Jordan and I headed to Chase Field for a fun filled night of baseball and music. I mean does it get any better than Baseball and Roger Clyne? I think not.
I have the cutest video of Jordy air-drumming on Blair's lap but I have to figure out how to rotate it!
This picture is just for you Katie!
Poor Dillon had to stay home with Grandma for the game but he woke up nice and early and was Mommy's little helper.
The finished product. This is my first time making homemade muffins. They were yummy!
Happy Father's Day Blair!
